Hot Cocoa Swap Question
This weeks topic:
What is your most memorable vacation? Where did you go? What made it memorable?
I have two. The first one is a trip my DH and I took to San Diego w/o kids (My wonderful sister watched our kids so nice of them). We had such a wonderful time just the two of use enjoying each other doing things we enjoyed and not having the kids saying I'm Bored!!!! They were not bored they were playing with their cousins.
The other one is all the vacations I took as a child. My parents always made them so much fun. We went to the Pocono Mountains and then Carolina Beach NC. We had so much fun as a family. Even with my father gone we still have those wonderful memories. And now I include my mother in our families memories of vacation and we all love having her with us and missed her last year.

Dish cloth Swap question
There are many people who ADORE receiving hand-knit or crochet items; but there are just as many who have no appreciation whatever of how much love, work, and time goes into a hand-made item. Share a story of a hand-made gift you gave to someone and how it worked out - good, bad, or ugly!
I had a wonderful one. I had made this felted bag it was wonderful i might add. I wanted lined and it was a weird size so I asked my mother in law who is a seamstress to do it. Well she did a wonderful job. (Let me add that she has personally dressed my two girls since they have been born with wonderful dresses and skirts.) She handed it to me . Then I told her that she meant so much to me and I said it is yours .She was so excited =)!!!! I told her that I knew she would have never lined it if she new it was for her. She carries it all the time.
I also made one for my mother. My first ever bag. She also loves it she uses it all the time for knitting project. and she loves that she got my first bag!!!!!

Dishcloth swap Question
Weekly Topic: Dishrag. Dishcloth. Face cloth. I've seen folks get all fired up in forums when someone refers to their knit or crochet creation as a dishrag, as that's somehow offensive to them! When you're working on yours, what do you call them? Also, is there a difference between a dishrag and a dishcloth? How bout a facecloth? Are they all really the same thing?
I think it depends on the application of it. If it is old and dirty it could be a dish rag, something to accent your bathroom it is a facecloth, brand new and still nice it is a dishcloth. Do not know if it is true but it sounds good.
I am really excited for this swap and getting know more people.

Hot Cocoa Swap Question
Now that we're in the thick of 'Winter'... has your knitting changed to match the season? Are you moving on from dishcloths, and tank tops to afghans, hats and mittens? Has your yarn changed from silk or cotton to wool, superwash or heavier cottons?
I really just knit what looks nice to me. I guess I should be making things for the summer and in the summer begin my fall and winter items. Right now I am tiring to knit socks (still tiring to get the hang of it).
